LASRAB VISIT NTDA TO VERIFY COMPLIANCE ON RECORDS KEEPING
The Acting General Manager New Towns Development Authority (NTDA; Tpl. Olakunle .J. Aboyeji yesterday received the Management of Lagos State Record and Archives Bureau (LASRAB) on their visit to the Authority registry to verify and ensure the compliance of proper record management practices.
The Director General, Lagos State Records and Archives Bureau (LASRAB); Mrs.Bilikiss Adebiyi Abiola, said the purpose of the visit was to preserve records and ensure compliance of record keeping for proper documentation where documents can be accessed and retrieved easily without delay.
She further said, the personnel in the registry must display high level of professionalism at all times and that officers in that cadre would be trained and equipped with all the necessary tools that is required in the registry to make align and meet up with the T.H.E.M.E.S Agenda of Mr. Governor, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu .
The Secretary to the Authority/Head of Administrative & Human Resources, Mrs.Titilayo Noibi conducted the LASRAB delegate round the open and secret registry to assess what was on ground.
Tpl. Aboyeji thanked the Management of LASRAB for their courtesy call to the Authority and also assured them that the Authority will strive to maintain compliance in order to attain the highest level in terms of modern and credible record keeping that captures the needs and interest of her clients.
