NTDA CLINCHES 2023 HOS GAMES CUP
New Towns Development Authority (NTDA) yesterday 7th November, 2023 won the cup for 17th Edition of the HOS Games final in the Tug of War Female Category by 2 points against their opponent Lagos State Ferry Services (LAGFFERY) which was held at the Mobolaji Johnson Stadium, Onikan Lagos.
The Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu who presented medals to all the Team members and trophy to the Captain of the team, Mrs. Adesewa Shittu Congratulated them for getting to the final stage of the competition and eventually clinching the final Cup.
The General Manager, News Towns Development Authority (NTDA), Tpl. Olakunle Aboyeji who was overwhelmed by the unprecedented achievement and Victory of the Authority’s Female Tug of War Team at the just concluded HOS GAMES expressed his gratitude to God for this achievement during his tenure and thanked the State Government for creating such a platform where recreational activities is supported and encouraged state wide.
The grand finale of the Head of Service competition tagged "HOS GAMES 2023" was attended by the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu; Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Mr Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat; Head of Service Lagos State, Mr Olabode Agoro; Chief of Staff to the Lagos State Governor, Mr Tayo Ayinde; Permanent Secretaries of the Ministries, General Managers, Directors and Members of Staff of Lagos State Pubic Service.
The NTDA winning team for the year 2023 Tug of Games Female category include the following: Captain, Mrs. Adesewa Shittu; Mrs Mariam Garuba; Mrs Bamidele Morounmubo; Mrs Aishat Ajisafe; Mrs Oyenuga Adewanle; Mrs Tosin Adeyemi; Mrs Odunsi Saidat; Mrs Olayinka Oladipupo; Mrs Busayo Adebayo and Mrs Azizat Said.
