Prior to his elevation to current position as Head, Town Planning Services Department , Tpl. Orebiyi was employed in the year 2000 as a Higher Technical officer. He worked with Land Use Monitoring, Ministry of Physical planning from March to April year 2000. He was transferred to NTDA April year 2000 till date.
He has designed schemes , Cordinated many designs , Carried out Supervisory and monitory roles in the schemes, Site sourcing , Site selection and Monitoring.
