NTDA DISLOGES SHANTIES IN LEKKI SCHEME I
The menace caused by the illegal scutters in the Lekki Residential Scheme I has attracted the attention of Lagos State, New Towns Development Authority (NTDA) .
Thus, the authority who swung into action by dislodging all forms of shanties which has hitherto constituted nuisance and environmental degradation of the peninsula.
The present government under the able leadership of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Lagos State,Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, vows that he would not condone any environmental depletion or criminal activities perpetrated by anyone in the State.
The General Manager NTDA, Mr. Wasiu Akewusola, reiterate that the Authority will leave no stone unturned in ensuring that the Scheme is safe, secure and make the environment habitable, not only for the residents, but every genuine business interests.
