THE G.M NTDA, Mr. Wasiu Akewusola, Celebrates SIX RETIRED OFFICERS.
The ultimate ambition of every Civil Servant is basically to retire from active service after having put in years of active selfless and meritorious working periods and circumstance.
It is indeed in the light of the above , that the Authority decided to not only appreciate the concerted efforts expended in the course of Service by Six of its officers, they were in the same vein celebrated and duly recognized.
The event was not only colourful but was a huge success judging from the caliber of dignitaries that graced the occasion.
Top among the dignitaries was the number one Civil Servant in the state, in the Public Service office, the Head of Service(H.O.S), Mrs. Folashade Adesoye , The Permanent Secretary , Lands Bureau, Mr. Bode Agoro , The Permanent Secretary, Local Government and Community Affairs,Mr. Fola Padonu, The Permanent Secretary,MEPD, Mr.Abayomi Kadiri and some General Manager of Parastatals amongst several other important personalities.
The General Manager, Mr. Wasiu Akewusola in his welcome speech, expressed his delight and happiness in seeing the officers in such high spirits and felicitated with them over their successful and inspiring service. He enjoined the retirees to enjoy their retirement and prayed for their well being.
The retired officers are: Mr. Albert Olayinka Bankole -Bawa , a Director in the Public Affairs Department on the Ministry of Information and Strategy;Mrs. Oyejide Adenike , a Higher Executive Officer; Mr. Akpan Samuel, a Chief Clerical Officer; Mr.Oladele Joseph, a Chief Driver Mechanic; Mrs.Mogaji Saidat, a Senior Clerical Officer ; Mrs. Disu Sherifat, a Head Cleaner .
